history

November 1986 saw the birth of an exceptional school in Dhaka.  The school – South Breeze School – is one of the few schools that opened with full classes and had to refuse admission even before the first class was taught.

Classes started from January 1987 in a rented house in Dhanmondi.  At present there are two campuses in Dhanmondi and a beautiful custom-built campus in Uttara.

South Breeze School was one of the few English medium schools of that time in Dhaka that had extra curricular activities, field trips and a forward-looking curriculum right from the beginning.  In fact, South Breeze School was the first school to introduce the more modern Mathematics Syllabus B when all the other schools were doing Syllabus A.
